@Whyme – Wow, that is bold! I totally would have taken the tickets. lol. Good for you though. I hope it pays off!

@akh – I've never really been a fan of graduations. I skipped my high school and college graduation. Just wasnt interested. I didnt really feel like either was an accomplish. It was just expected.

I'm with you, Mini. I'll celebrate when I pass the CPA, which is a much bigger accomplishment than graduating college IMO.

I have missed out on family events. I thought this was the first year I would get to spend memorial day weekend with my family on their annual camping trip, but I have AUD scheduled for May 31st, so I won't being doing that. I always had finals the first of June so I could never make when I was in college. I won't be missing my graduation ceremony though! It may not be that important to some of you, but to me it is. I am the first college graduate in my family!

If he throws a no-hitter or something crazy happens, I will be pretty angry!

We should be allowed to choose between school and the CPA exam. I would gladly miss college to study and pass these 4 exams.

i have been trying to plan some things to do so i don't get too stressed out and lonely. then i just study around them.

for example tonight at 10pm i am going bowling with some friends, so i woke up an hour earlier this morning to compensate.

    FAR - round 2 7/1/12 passed

@whyme — I don't care what these people say…you're crazy. Get your ass to that game. You still have 10 days until your test and the 4 hours you spend at the game is not likely going to be the difference between a pass and a fail. You can't miss out on front row tix ESPECIALLY when Verlander's on the hill. Your next post had better say, “I called back the person that offered me the tickets, begged for forgiveness for my transgressions, and am now going to the game”. Either that or I'll fly out to Detroit and take those tickets lol

@Ashley – Congrats on graduating! I didn't mean to downplay graduating, it is a very big accomplishment, and all of us should be proud for making it through college, regardless of what the CPA does to us :).

@Whyme – I'm so sorry that as a Tigers fan you have to worry about missing your ace throwing a no hitter (sarcasm, I hate you guys for being so good). I mean it does suck that you have to miss the game though. Verlander is something special. The closest thing we ever had was Greinke before we realized he had talent and he didn't belong on the Royals. I saw him pitch 4 times the year he won the Cy Young, it was amazing. Now we Royals fans have to worry about missing a no hitter being thrown against us. You guys are so good this year, it's not even fair! We're finally pulling together a team that miiiight break .500, and we won't sniff the playoffs. Oh well, go Chiefs?

@BaseballCPA- You are right, I probably should have gone, my prior procrastination has surely caught up with me. If this was last week, I would not even have thought twice about it. MVP, CY Young, No-Hitter, what was I thinking :/.

@AKh89- I remember the JV vs. Grienke duels, those were pretty awesome. The Tigers are stacked this year, I will prob. take in a few games after this exam. Prince is an Asset right now, but his contract may prove to be a Liability in the the future. Let's see what happens. Chiefs should have def. went for a QB this offseason, good luck there.
