Well let’s begin by saying I didn’t get time to attempt 3 sims….. With that being said I am really doubting a passing score.

First section was aright, second had a bunch of calcs, third was somewhere in the middle…. But I really wouldn’t be able to say if they got more difficult or not.

The sims I was able to attempt werent too bad, I know I didn’t get 100% correct but that’s because I wasn’t as prepared as I should have been.

I think if I had an extra 3-4 days to prepare I could have given myself a strong chance to take this out…. I guess I’ll find out in a few weeks.

similiar situation by me. MCs were ok but sims were crazy- extremely long.

The test was really weird it was basically govermental and Not for profit and IFRS. its almost like EPS, Defered taxes, pension, consolidations, didnt exist as sprinkling of some questions that i never heard of….

    not looking good at all…

Definitely a strange mix of questions that supposedly according to the cso are the minority.

In my case it was the opposite, I did somehow okay with Sims but don't feel confident about MCQs. Those were so tricky and quite long.

Do you know when exactly the scores will be released ?

I took my first CPA test, FAR, on 02/28/2012… I have no clue of how I did, and I am super anxious to get the score… I think I did good on the 1st testlet because I found the 2nd one harder; but the 3rd testlet had both easy and hard questions… I was able to complete all SIMS except one, that I had no idea on how to tackle… bunch of cells I felt did not need adjustments, and viceversa. Also, I finished the test in 3 hours… I have always finished tests early since I can remember… But for some reason this time it has given me some insecurity.

Someone out there who can predict scores?? lol…

I have not schedule the other tests yet because I feel I should pass this one first, since it is said it is the harder… I had the luxury to take time off from work just to study, so I do not know what to do with my time!!! Damn I need that score!!

I took FAR back in OCT 2011 and failed b/c i didn't complete not one simulation. I really underestimated the simulations and only gave myself an hour. By the time i figured out what they were asking, i had 30 mins to solve, prepare journal entries, and prepared statements. I prepared the formats but didn't solve not one thing. I failed with a 72. Re-taking April.

    Good luck!!
