Hi All, I am following the NINJA framework and just began the non-stop MCQ phase today. I have already went through the entire book and taken heavy notes on all of the units (using Gleim if it matters). I notice I score very poorly when I run through my first set of 20(ish) MCQ for a unit [45%-50%], but then score much higher on my second round when I have seen how to calculate the problems and where I was going wrong [70-80%]. Are my poor first round scores a sign that I should be reviewing the material more before starting MCQ for a unit or is this normal? This is my first exam so I have not seen many CPA MCQ before and they are intimidating the first time around. I usually have a general idea of how to get the answer in my first round of MCQ, but I get tripped up by the little details I miss or can’t exactly remember what to do with. The questions are different in the second round so I know I am not memorizing the answers at this point.
