Ok..so I’m embarrassed to say this but I’ve been studying for FAR and AUD but I just sent my application since I just took Business Law 2. Almost finished FAR, except lease and software but I’m thinking it’s been useless.

I mailed my application on Tuesday and checked the DBPR’s website to see if they got it. To my surprise they did..But to my surprise it seems like they smoked some heavy stuff during Christmas that they entered it as COSMETOLOGIST…fml…lol

My plan was to take the exams at the end of February, but it is more likely than not according to my inner-self that I will not be able to get a seat since the application will probably take 2-4 weeks. Should I keep studying? I was thinking that it could be a fast process since I already hold another license in the same state (FL), but I’m not sure. I also live in a ghost town so hopefully no one plans to sit any time soon.. Thanks for ur advice…..happy new year!!!!!

Sorry but I am not following at all. First of all where did you check that you saw cosmetologist? Normally I thought you couldn't see the status of your applicationb online? You say you just finished business law but that's more related to BEC than aid or far so I don't understand why you waited for that course to be done? Something got lost in translation I believe.

@mla1169…In Florida candidates need to have Business Law I & II to be eligible for any part of the exam…I had not taken BUL 2 because it was too expensive, so I just took it once I started working.

There is this website for the Department of Business and and Professional Regulation in Florida where one is able to check the status of the application. All that is needed is the name and SS#. I was shocked when I saw they messed up…I don't know about other states but I had to mail my application because it cannot be done online (in the 21st century)…

I already called and e-mailed them. I was told they will call me back tomorrow so I'll just wait for that and keep praying.
