Alright ya’ll. I have really got to stop taking these breaks after exams. It’s just too nice…

I was really heartbroken after I got my FAR score. I really thought I had a good chance of passing.

Anyway – tonight I jump back onto the dreaded FAR train. Going to throw out my tons of notes and MCQ’s I did last time and just start fresh. I am not underlining or highlighting a damn thing during videos, just going to take obsessive notes. I am going to do the MCQs to my best ability and really try to learn what I did wrong.

I am hoping this time I can grasp on a bit more quickly and retain it better. I really can’t wait to get this out of the way.

Hustlin-Sorry to hear about your Aud score. I was rooting for you! 🙁

You weren't that far off though. Why don't you just take a few extra weeks and hit Aud again in April? I'll bet you'll kill it while it's still fresh!

alright…. I am on the bandwagon with you all. Got back-to-back 74's on audit and BEC this testing round. I am going to retake them in May. First, I am going to give FAR a 1st try in April to shake things up for my brain and interests. Sometimes throwing a kink in the studying can help keep the interest level up.

so after receiving a 74 in REG for the second time i was thinking about all the woulda, coulda, shoulda, and what ifs…then i told myself to SHUT UP, LOOK UP, and GET UP because i'm NEVER GOING TO GIVE UP!

@HustlinHustlin – good luck. I'm still too depressed about my 74 in AUD. I'll take this weekend off (I live in FL, so hoping for some beach weather) and then will try AUD and REG next week.

@ nolife – great attitude! A pity party is definitely necessary every once in a while. You are half way there!

@Cosmo – yeah it's a real bummer. After I read your post I sat there for a day wondering if I should go back to audit. However, I think my score was far enough off and since I never opened the book I'm going to have to start all over – so why not start fresh in a few months once I have REG and BEC under my belt? Plus I can save myself $50 (I know it seems like a ridiculously small amount after all these damn expenses) if I wait and gather all the retakes I will need to do and get the NTS at the same time (hopefully no more!) Though I do want to get it out of the way, I want to see what the rest of the exam down CPA hell road has in store for me.

Mine's on the 2nd. Three weeks, not sure I can do it but shooting for not-rescheduling. I'm using 2011 Becker books so 7 chapters + lots of ancillary. Good luck with studying. I'm semi-unmotivated.
