I have taken Reg. Score will be released in February. I got my Certificate in Accountancy from North Seattle Community College, which gave me the needed credits to take the exam. I got close to getting hired at a small firm but was passed on. I am currently sitting for BEC and enrolled full-time at Golden Gate for M.S. Taxation. I desperately want to get hired at a firm in Seattle, and I hope that the M.S. Tax along with the CPA exam eligibility will help me get hired. Any thoughts?

My thoughts are: You (will) have the credentials, all you'll need to bring to the table is a well-constructed resume and an outstanding personality. I have found that it is difficult to get anywhere by applying online (not impossible, as I scored an out-of-state job by applying online and phone interviews only; there were no in-person interviews!!!), but it would definitely help if you sought out career fairs to get that much needed face time.
