Hey Everyone,

For the heck of it I applied for a job in the accounting dept at the hospital that’s right around the corner from my house. It’s 32 hrs per week. No idea what it pays, but I got a call today and I have an interview on Wednesday! Hoping it pays enough and has good benefits to make it worth my while to take it. Honestly if the pay is too low I’ll just wait on the next opportunity, I have HR Block lined up already for the spring. But, I am excited to finally get a job interview in this town. It’s the only bite I’ve had other than tutoring at my university as a student worker and HRB, which of course is only seasonal.

I have an interview Wednesday too!! It's for a controller position for a paint company. The drive is terrible, the money is okay so we'll see how it goes. Good luck to you!!

Interview went well, but I got a call today saying that they have decided not to hire anyone at the moment. The hospital is up for sale and there's a lot of uncertainty right now so they don't want to bring someone in only to have them downsized a few months later if there is a sale. So, that's that.
