ok… I have Becker 2011 too. What did you do to get comfortable looking through the tax literature? Did you get used to it by working SIMS or just browsing through? How many SIMS do you think you did?

Nothing really. I use it for work a lot, so I am pretty familiar with it. You can get a free subscription to the Lit through the AICPA since you're a CPA candidate. That will be the full version. I don't think the ones Becker and Wiley offer are the full versions, so it's definitely better to practice using the full version. I think you actually get the full version on exam day. As far as SIMS, I did all of the Wiley and all of Becker's on the weekend before my exam.

I remember barely passing Tax a couple of years ago in college. Got a 2.0. My train of thought was : ”worry about this shit when you take REG”.

Well now I'm taking REG and I regret those words. I have this innate fear of taxes.

I did ”filing status” today (3 pages in becker) and called it a day. LOL this is going to be a long long long 3.5 weeks of prep.

I feel like I'm done after FAR, but it seems that REG will be my beast :/
