In the 2012 ninja notes it says deduct up to 10,000 of business start up costs, reduced dollar for dollar by amount over $60000, but the ninja audio says 5000/50,000. which is the correct number to go with?

That being said- you posted on the FAR forum, but are quoting REG material. What you are quoting probably refers to tax stuff? Lets hope so becuase with the test 6 days out I can't afford to get confused. LOL

For this year, it's $5,000/$50,000. For year 2010, it was $10,000/$60,000. I would just know $5,000/$50,000 for the exam. I highly doubt they would go back in time and ask a question like that.

funny, I didn't choose a forum, I just clicked add new from the top of the main page, yes it was supposed to be for reg not far. Sorry, I see now there is a drop down box to choose the forum and if you don't choose it defaults to FAR.
