Friends. I am reviewing audit. The IT section is killing me!!!

Should I study IT section in BEC to reinforce what I’ve learned in aud???

What do you think?

I wouldn't waste too much time on it. There are more important sections within Audit. Depending upon what study material you have, it might tell you some of the key definitions for IT that you might want to know. I used CPA Excel and the Wiley Books. The Wiley Books listed out some IT concepts that were the most tested.

Also, the IT material is quite different for AUD and BEC. I would say that the most important part for AUD IT is to understand the different ways you can use IT for testing (i.e. CAAT vs ITF vs test data). It's not too technical, just understanding how computers have changed the ways that auditing is done
