    No one in the acg department is here, except the cashier. Christmas times are boring…

    Most of my department is here, but we do have a couple people on vacation. I don't know what the deal is exactly, but my days have been dragging this week!

    YES! I work in tax at a local firm. It is really dead right now. Lots of time to study REG, though.

    I've actually started drifting off (as in getting really sleepy) while doing some work in the past couple of weeks because it feels so boring…

    @Peanut

    You're almost there! Rooting for you to pass this window!

    OH MY GOD I AM GETTING SO ANGRY!

    I have two menopausal women in my office that keep turning the temperature down while I am over here freezing my ass off. I even have pants, a sweater, and boots on and I'm still freezing! Normally their supervisor is here and she is always cold so she sides with me… but I am outnumbered since she is on vacation. And it's not like they are taking their sweaters off. Grrrrr.

    I am planning to wait for the lady who sits next to the thermostat to go to the bathroom, and then I'm going to sneak over there and turn the temperature up. Or, I should say I'm going to wait till she goes to “the little girl's room” (does anyone else find it creepy when people say that, particularly older women?). Because seriously, I can't work like this! They have fans at their desks and they should use them!

    Ok.. phew.. done venting. Now I just have to wait for one of them to leave so that I can execute plan Freezing Ninja.

    @kandisjoy

    I don't mean to make light of your freezing situation, but your post gave me a good laugh 🙂

    I hope your plan is successful! Stay warm! (or room temperature at least…)

    Pfft hopefully I'll be retired by the time I'm their age… but if not, I will at least have the common courtesy to turn my fan on and remove my sweater before turning down the temperature in the office. 🙂 I've never been bitter and inconsiderate the way that they are and I'm pretty sure that they've always been that way.

    @Acct – Glad I could entertain you! I was able to sneak over there and turn the temperature up. My fingers are still frozen but I already feel a lot better.
