1. doing all passmaster (1100MC questions) one more time through to make sure I’ve nailed em and taking notes on any areas I need to brush up on.

Sounds good to me. Doing lots of MCQ helps you get used to the wording of the questions you're likley to see. Govt/NFP is good to focus on because of the high percentage of questions likely to come from these areas (8-12%) each. Any practice with SIMs that you can get is good, although I think that is a weaker area of many of the test prep courses. The only other thing I would add is to write out by hand any topics that you are struggling with. For example, I kept getting confused on the JE for bonds in different situations. Once I wrote them out, I was totally clear on bonds and had no trouble with any of the questions on the exam.

I think you have a good strategy going. I just took FAR on 5/17 and had a similar strategy as you except I didn't focus on Govt/NFP. I have that nailed down through work experience. Taking the final exams helps with making sure you are timing and staying on track. You need to make sure to have more than 1 hour to work on the sims. They can be quite tricky at times. The more time you have on those the better.

I finished the MC in just over 2 hours and spent the remaining amount of time on sims. I did both Final Exams and ran through all the sims just to get comfortable with the structure. Good Luck!!
