    I'm sure its possible but why not put forth the effort and do the TBS anyway? Over-prepare yourself for the exam. Dont look for shortcuts to slip by with a 75.

    I used Yaeger, so I'm not even sure what the TBS's look like in the Becker book. I went through each of them at least once, and had a couple of SIMS on the exam that were similar. However, I would have known the topics anyway just by doing the MCQ's.

    Instead of focusing on TBS's, I would suggest making a list of formulas and journal entries. Knowing J/E's and how to calculate different things will help you more in my opinion.

    Also, do you have the Wiley test bank? If not, I would definitely supplement Becker with those MCQ's.

    It's 40% of your exam. I'd practice a few at least.

    I did… Although this is the only test that I didn't practice for any sims and it was the only passed in my first attempt. But I did worked my butt off one gazzillion mc… and because the review professor I had… She will always have the responsibility for my passing grade.

    B - 62, 70, 72, 79!!!
    A - 68, 81
    R - 70, 82
    F - 84

    @apbandj – did you only do the yeager sims required? I am reviewing with yeager now and doing their sims plus a few…

    @ledgermaven – Yes, I did only the MCQ's and SIMS in the book that Cindy said to do. I also did ~500 MCQ's in the Wiley test bank. Being very comfortable with the formulas and journal entries is definitely what helped me pass. I would suggest making a list of those and reviewing on a regular basis.

    @apbandj, I don't use Yaegar so I was wondering what SIM topics did the material recommend going over in particular?

    FAR 4/9/12- PASSED
    BEC 7/13/12- PASSED
    AUD 8/16/12- Ughhh 71, Rematch: 90!!!
    REG-12/6/12 PASSED

    @kobebryant168

    When are you going to take your test?

    As for me, I'm going through the sims 1st time around (using Becker). It helped me a lot because you can see the “bigger picture of it.” It's a long process but it helps me to understand the topic a little bit better. The MC's kind of babies you, because you can see the answers, or have a number close to one. As for the sims, it's completely from scratch, so you have to make up your numbers. My advice is, go through the sims at least once for the chapters you're unsure about.

    @mgoloubenko

    I'm aiming for the same schedule as you. FAR ON 4/12 AND BEC 5/28-5/3ish

    and REG/AUD around summer!

    @blessieghee, how are you feeling right now and what has your study process been like? I haven't reviewed SIMs yet but definitely plan to!

    BEC 7/13/12- PASSED
    AUD 8/16/12- Ughhh 71, Rematch: 90!!!

    @mgoloubenko — stressed and scared… I finished the Becker materials once, and some chapters twice. I'm doing the sims right now F4, it's pretty long! I'm hoping to finish the sims by tomorrow and re-write the notes from the sims, like journal entries and formulas. I highly advise everyone to go over the sims, so there are no “surprises.”

    As for my study process, it changed throughout time from what I had in mind. I started of viewing the whole lectures, while taking notes using my book, then transferring it to my notes. I felt like I wasted so much time, and felt like i just rewrote the whole book. So, I developed a new process over time and will use this for the upcoming parts. I ended up taking notes instead from all the HW, and comparing those notes from the book. Then after, transfer all those to my FC. I ditched my notebook because I find it easier to read your notes using FC. I hope it works, and if not at least I know how to study for BEC.

    Yeah for sure, I can relate- I have pages and pages of notes from the MCQ's I got wrong but it seems I've forgotten a lot of them. I'm in my final review of the MCQ homework, I've done them all once, and I am almost done with round two – just have F5 and F10 left. Then I am switching gears to focus on SIMS, while consistently redoing MCQ to keep it fresh. I feel like if I don't review a topic every few days, I forget all the tricks that it takes to conquer the question. I am also pretty scared, and panicky but my fear has kinda kept me going. We can buddy up and motivate each other!

    FAR 4/9/12- PASSED
    BEC 7/13/12- PASSED
    AUD 8/16/12- Ughhh 71, Rematch: 90!!!

    @mgoloubenko awww yay thanks! Seriously! I feel like I'm going to forget everything. I did everything twice already, yet some of them looks foreign lol. On the other hand I plan to to the non-stop MC's this weekend and next week. Yikes!
