    Hey guys,

I’m a CPA candidate from NJ…taking FAR on Tuesday and just have a quick question on cash flows.

No one in Becker ever really mentions the order of the operating section of the cash flow. It seems like you put depreciation expense first then follow the balance sheet (i.e. 1) receivables 2) inventory 3) gain on sale of assets 4) payables)….am I right?

Thanks for your help and good luck to everyone!

    Dan

I thought I read in one of the Becker explanations on the sims that the particular order within each section doesn't matter

    Passed in 2014

    FAR- (5/27) 88
    REG- (2/20) 70, Rematch: (7/2)83
    BEC- (4/2) 85
    AUD- (4/24) 87

Using Becker live classes and online materials

"if you get confused, listen to the music play"

Order doesnt matter just as long as you remember everything that gets added or subtracted out. CLAD. Current assets/gains, current liabilities/losses, amortization, dividends.
