Last week I got my score for Reg online. I failed with a 69 🙁 So today, I received my exam score mailing. It’s completely wrong. My name and address are correct but it says I took BEC on 7/20/10 and passed with a 79. Totally wrong. I took REG on July 9 and got a 69. I took BEC in May and got an 81. Also all the current credit status info is totally wrong. Looks like they put my name and address and someone else’s score info. Anyone else have this happen? I probably won’t have a chance to call IL Board of Examiners until Wednesday. This is completely ridiculous!

I just got my mail from ILBOE today but it had my score correctly.

I can't believe they messed up your mail! Isn't that all they do?!

I'm sorry it happened to you but yes you should give them a call and tell 'em to do their job right.

I hope they incorrectly input your score on the website when you actually passed!

I just got off the phone with them. They said that my score online is correct, and someone else's info is on my paper copy of score. I don't understand how they could be different?! Shouldn't the info online just print to the paper?? The lady I spoke to told me that there is someone else who is taking exams that has same last name as me and very similar first name. I found that to be really interesting since I'm using my married last name, and its not a very common last name at all. So she thought they may have switched up our scores, but couldn't say for sure. Annoying and ridiculous!. People at my firm have gotten fired over sending out audit confirmations with confidential information to the wrong address. I guess the state of Illinois operates differently. I was hoping there was a small chance that they would say my score online was also wrong, but no such luck.

Aw man! So sorry to hear that! Can you retake it in the next window? I failed my BEC in late May but retook it in early July before I forget anything and passed!

I'm planning on taking at beginning of Oct. I just paid my application fee today, so I should get my Notice To Schedule in the next few days.
