Every time I finish a topic on my review, there is quick briefing of IFRS and GAAP, but there are no multiple choice questions. I’m thinking of depending on Ninja Audio and cpareviewforfree.com (they have multiple question section) to review IFRS. Do you guys have any suggestions?

I currently used CPAexcel and I have Lambers. Also a friend of mine can lend me his Becker software.

I am going to make flashcards of all the differences and then memorize them. Nice and simple!

    If you have the time…

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

After just recently taking FAR, I would highly recommend having a good understanding of IFRS. The last chapter of Becker has a comprehensive review of GAAP vs. IFRS that I all but skipped over due to time constraints. I feel I would have done much better on the exam if I would have spent a few hours on it.

    BEC: 83
    FAR: 77
    REG: 84
    AUD: 82

I don't know if I have time for the flash cards but I'll check on Beckers. I've heard that I should be very prepared for IFRS, so I should probably put extra emphasis on that. Thanks.

If it's in the Content Specific Outline, then it's fair game on the exam. IFRS is on the outline!
