    If you were to do it all over again, what would be the order of your exam?

    I’ll start—FAR, REG, Aud and Bec.

    FAR - 76
    AUD - 74,84 🙂
    REG - 76
    BEC - 72, 80

    I just told someone the other day that if I were to do it all again, I simply wouldnt. Its been too demoralizing and stressful and WAY too expensive. At this point ive wasted too much time and money to at least end up with something. But will it be worth it all in the end? Not to me.

    Yay tuesday debbie downerness

    REG - 65, 70, 80!
    BEC - 35, 62, 79!
    AUD - 73, 75!
    FAR - 65, 73, 70, 75! DONE.

    It's a good idea to start with your hardest exam. For me, I thought it would be FAR, but that was before I took REG. If I had to do it over, I'd start with REG, then do FAR, AUD, and BEC. If you think about it, REG has very little in common with the other sections. The other sections flow somewhat. With AUD, some FAR knowledge is very helpful (e.g. adjusting journal entries). Then there's a lot of overlap between BEC and AUD (e.g. COSO). If you haven't started taking the exams yet, I would recommend the order I listed above.

    Wouldn't change a thing… FAR -> AUD -> BEC -> REG

    I suggest REG either first or last as it's the bastard child of the CPA exam. The other sections have some degree of overlap with each other.

    FAR - 79 - 07/2012
    AUD - 65, 78 - 11/2012
    BEC - 76 - 11/2012
    REG - 78 - 01/2013
    ETH - 98 - 01/2013

    @Noct

    It's good to see we think alike. Or maybe you just copied my post! If that's the case, then I'm gonna have to dunk on you. And by dunk, I mean airball a layup.

    FAR, REG, AUD, BEC

    I took AUD first to get momentum, but not realize I didn't need it. Rather, just needed good studying habits.

    @FearTheBeard

    Indeed, it appears we do think alike. So far, we've passed the same exams in the same testing windows, including REG in January. What can I say… great minds and all…

    FAR - 79 - 07/2012
    AUD - 65, 78 - 11/2012

    Did

    BEC,

    FAR,

    REG,

    AUD.

    I had enough field audit experience towards the end of the whole ordeal that the test material wasn't so foreign. BEC is a real random mess of topics.

    Couldn't pass again!

    In light of Clarified SAS – take AUD before July 2013.

    I did: AUD, BEC, REG and FAR. It worked but was risky since I had never passed REG or FAR before. I seriously worried after passing AUD and BEC that I might stall out.

    If I had it to do over again, I would do:

    REG, FAR, AUD, BEC from hardest to easiest for me.

    I've followed Wiley's modules: AUD, FAR, REG, BEC. So far, it's working out for me. But, if I'm going to do it again, I would take AUD, FAR, BEC, REG.

    DONE!!!
