So, I’m currently in a full time Master in Finance Program with a B.S. in Accounting. I have taken graduate level accounting classes of Financial Statement Analysis and Financial Reporting.

My course load has been crazy this semester (it’s a one year accelerated extremely intensive masters program) so I’ve barely had time to study. I’m already planning on failing this exam, but am just taking it for the experience. But I’m still going to cram as much information as I possibly can this next week and maybe with a little bit of luck I can beat the extreme odds against me (although not even remotely likely).

Anyway still going to try, so if you had to give me 5 topics to focus on in the next week, what would you choose?

(I already picked governmental and not for profit myself). Thanks!

I'm in a similar boat. I'm focusing on gov't & not-for-profit and business combinations. Then maybe leases pensions and taxes if possible.

I think you should focus on whatever you feel least comfortable with. For example, I work with governmental accounting every day so I was more comfortable with that, and focused on Bonds and Leases, which I wasn't as familiar with. Only you know your weak areas.
