@75 thanks!
@cpa genie
youve already passed 3, you shouldnt sweat about audit at all!
Here are a few things I did differently on the exam which helped me out a lot:
-take your sweet time on the first testlet. Read each answer slowly. For audit, just a FEW WORDS will make a correct answer entirely incorrect. Look for words such as “all”, “every”,etc. The first time when I took audit, it seemed like every question had two right answers and I was just guessing because I couldnt tell which one was right. This time around I made sure to analyze every word and I was able to find the key words which eliminated many wrong answers.
-I cannot stress this next part enough: UTILIZE THE RESEARCH TOOL FOR THE SIMULATIONS. I was about to get two major simulation problems entirely wrong until I decided to use the research tool and find what they were asking for. There is a ton of information there that will basically spell out what the answer is for you. Make sure you use this, I believe this is what helped me get a passing score because my SIMs went from weaker to stronger.
– make sure you dont just memorize the equations! Rather, understand what every single component is and how they affect the other components.
– especially with audit, the devil is in the details. Make sure you understand the subtle differences between the various things that are discussed in the review
