Exam is at 1:30pm tomorrow. I have a few hours tonight and all morning tomorrow. I am currently scoring 71% on 20 MCQ quizes on the Wiley test bank (12 total). Should I keep plugging away at the test bank tonight and then just do final read throughs tomorrow (NINJA notes, flashcards and Becker final review book)?

Or should I start reading that material tonight and scrap the MCQs?

Or should I just rock MCQs until tomorrow’s exam?

Or does it even matter at this point?

If I was scoring 80% on the MCQs, I make the switch, but I don’t feel 71% is high enough.

70% is acceptable…read the NINJA guide tonight…do MCQs tomorrow starting with your weakest areas first…do 20 MCQ sets.

    You're almost done!

Don't worry about it. I was scoring between 68% and 80% on most of my quizzes and I walked away with an 88! Follow Jeff's suggestions and you'll be fine. The one other thing I did was read my notecards that contained notes on weak areas and those I was most likely to forget on the exam one last time on my way in to the exam. Good luck tomorrow!!

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Same as others have said… I was scoring around 70% as well before I went into FAR. I absolutely dominated the MCQs when I got into the exam. The problem I had though was that I did not time FAR (or AUD for that matter…) very well. Although I did great on the MCQs, I only left myself about an hour to do the sims… I basically ended up leaving like 2-3 pretty much blank. Have no idea how I passed

Because of this, one tip I've given like 1000000000000 times is that really the key to a lot of these tests is managing your time well. Don't get stuck up on the 2-3 MCQs each testlet that were really hard and you think you need to spend another 5-10 minutes on to try to get the right answer. Give it your best guess on those questions and move on… In the scheme of things, it doesn't really matter. What does matter, however, is giving yourself enough time to get through the entire test without being rushed and/or leaving things totally unanswered.

If you follow the tip above and you're scoring like you say you are on the quizzes, I bet you'll pass.

    AUD - 85
    FAR - 78 (lol@ FAR Sims)
    REG - 85
    BEC - August

I agree with what everyone has said. You'll do great JJM! The night before I did a few MCQ's “tests” and then decided I'd just go over my notes for all of the chapters and then the morning before I went over the areas I was most nervous about ate breakfast drove to the testing center and looked over my NINJA notes and walked in…

You're going to do great! Can't wait to hear about your experience….

Awesome. Thank you all very much. I ditched the MCQs for the night I just read over all my notes. Tomorrow I plan on reading the NINJA notes, flashcards, final review book and back to the NINJA notes one more time before heading in. I think I'll be fine on the MCQs. It's the SIMS I'm worried about. I hope to utulize the research tool to help me pass and plan on having a quick pace during the MCQs to ensure i have enough time to “knock them out of the park” (Tim Geherty). 🙂

@AshleyCap – Just think, in 4+ weeks, we get to do it all again, but I feel that AUD will be less stressful…(I hope)

I took FAR on Monday, 10/24, and was still upset two days later. I was getting 71-77 on all practice tests using Becker. It was very difficult and I know that I screwed up. On part of the SIM I drew a complete blank when required to do the simpliest journal entries. I studied for the last 30 days four hours each day after failing it last testing window

    BEC 79

    AUD 75

    FAR 70, 10/24/11

    REG – 11/2011

    AUD: 75 Expired 12/11 - Retesting in 2/13
    BEC: 79 Expired 12/11
    FAR: 70, 10/24/11
