But seriously, with my FAR exam coming up on the 27th my level of stress/worry is at an all time high. Tomorrow begins my final review process, during which I intend to:

– Go through all of the Becker book and write notes

– Re-do all of the homework, supplemental questions, and sims

– Keep looking over the flashcards I have made

– Do quizzes/progress tests

I’m going to make myself a formal schedule and I’m thinking of doing a 2 hours on, 1 hour off type of thing so that I don’t overload and lose my ability to focus/perform.

Does that sound like a good plan? I’ve essentially got 9 days to review the 9 sections–F1&F2 will probably be a one day review, as will F8&F9.

I think that sounds great, but I am not sure how realistic that is given that you only have 9 days…I had those same plans with 11 days to go and ran out of time…Going back through the entire book writing my own notes literally took FOREVER! It did help me a lot, but I wish I had used my time more wisely practicing the concepts by doing more MCQ. I just did not have time for both like I thought I would…Had I focused more on MCQ and then went back through particular sections of the book as I discovered the areas I was weaker on, I think I would have been better off…I just don't think going through the entire book was time well spent…

Having said that, I did pass on my first try with a 78! My test day experience was terrible, but I somehow managed to pass…

Do you work or will you have the next 9 days in their entirety to study? I did work during some of my last 11 days, but got off early enough to put in 6-8 hours of studying after work…
