I hate to say this but…

Now that I’ve passed the exams, I’m kind of missing the whole process. Taking an exam and waiting for your score was kind of exciting and nothing beat seeing a passing grade. I felt like my days had a purpose and now I’m just languishing all day trying to find a job, with nothing else to do besides strum my guitar.

I should just go for the actuary exams, thats another 5 tests I can study for.

    cool story bro

Nothing wrong with that honestly. Nothing beats the sense of achievement and accomplishment.

After I pass and take a year off I plan on pursuing a degree in petroleum or nuclear engineering while working part time at any firm that'll take me. That's my general long term goal. I don't think I'll miss the CPA exam process though, it's too stressful. I literally have to monitor my focus levels, sleep levels, food levels for weeks at a time and right into the exam.

As glad as I am to be done, part of me feels the same way. I guess we get into this mode of studying for it, that its going to take a while to snap out of it. Kind of like stepping off a treadmill.

lol, you guys are crazy. ^^I fall off the treadmill every 30 minutes and have to drag myself back on. Won't miss it at all.

You couldn't pay me to take these things again.

Hang in there goodluck, before you know it, firms will realize they're understaffed, and start hiring for the upcoming busy season.

Clearly you need to just find a job if you really wish you were still studying for the exam haha. Sure the economy isn't great, but there are good jobs out there even for people without a CPA.

Not for me. Between school and these exams I busted my hump for 8 grueling years. I won't even read a fictional fun book! I'm still catching up on sleep and I was done 9 months ago!

I am feeling the same. Last Friday was such a blast when I received my last passing score. I studied after work everyday, now I don't know what to do after work..feeling kind of lost.

“Napuelaing” caused a laugh out loud. I'm so ashamed of myself.

You passed your last exam? That's great. It's normal to feel the way you do. Give it some time..and look for a job. 🙂 Maybe a gf?
