Maybe skip the lectures? I actually can't stand Becker's instructers but I still try to go over the lectures at least once, if I feel like they are going on and on about something simple, I fast forward.

I kind of agree with the OP. Out of the all the Yaeger instructors, Phil was my least favorite. Cindy also reads from the book quite a bit too.

I think Yeager does that because they cover in the videos most of the material they want you to learn. I thought Phil was good in the earlier videos, just less instructive later on.

He does read from the book a good deal but so does Cindy. However, they expand on what is in the book and explain the questions in detail so you can apply what is written. If you want to read the book you can but you may wind up reading more than is necessary to pass the test.

I'm not unhappy with the lecturing as I have passed 3 sections using Yaeger. I'm hoping for a 4th later this month!

it is not fare to compare such an excellent teacher like Cindy to a horrible teacher, Cindy does read from the book, but she explains what she is reading and repeat the explanation couple times, but Phil only reads from the book without any explanation because he does not know what he is reading about, I can tell that there are so many aspects that he does not know how to do them, he does not even prepare for lectures.

FAR should be taught by cindy, phil should never even try to teach, because he is horrible.
