I desparately need help formulating my study strategy

I am using the Yaeger at home study course, usb lectures and the wiley book, for FAR. After going through the first lecture and doing the problems that were listed I noticed many that did not have topics that were covered in the lecture. So for anyone using Yaeger that feels they have a good system for reviewing the material, I would love to hear any feedback you have.

Mainly stick to what they talk about for FAR. They do a great job in covering the most likely tested areas. Then do all the Wiley Test bank questions.

    FAR - 10/3/12 - 86
    BEC - 11/27/12 - 70 1/14/13 - 81
    AUD - 4/4/13 - 87
    REG - 7/8/13 - 80

I agree. Make sure you understand the topics they cover. Do the assigned homework from the text. (I did the exam in the appendix too).

Then after you have covered all of the modules, start with the Wiley Test Bank. Work as many of those problems you can (like 1,000+). If you come across problems/concepts Yaeger didn't cover, just read the explanations and take some notes, to get a general exposure or understanding, but don't stress about those.

I did so many MCQ and SIMS (plus 2 or 3 practice exams). I literally wanted to through my computer out the window. I hated it. There was so much to do, and so much information. It takes a lot of time and it's really boring.

But the 85 I saw on score release day made it all worth it.

    Good Luck!

The first module seems to have a lot of info that is actually covered in depth in later modules. Don't worry that you aren't getting it yet. I ended up skipping over mod 9 and coming back to it later after I had covered the other chapters. I did much better on it then.

I know you are not using Roger, but he uses the wiley book for homework problems so maybe you could use his study plan on the link here and adjust it to fit the yaeger course (it is a downloadable excel file). He has 3,6,9 and 12 month study plans where all four exams are included in the study plan.
