Become very arrogant ..Study is a must, but being an arrogant towards the test sets my mind in a mode of winning.

I just received my FAR score, and I aced it. That fortified my believe. My advise to someone that is going through this process is not to allow yourself to jump on the bandwagon of ,”OH, the test is going to be difficult, oh, the material is so and so.” No, I work and have a family. Everytime I pick up the next review book, I tell myself:” you (the test) going to be the easiest ever. You are nothing. I will pass you. You are elementary.” Then, for example, with FAR, I piled all my college books, intermediate accounting, governmental and advance accounting. Then, I looked at the pile, looked at the Becker review book, and laughed. I had to cover only this little thing.. Please…..Study , arrange your time to the maximum, and do not allow anything or anyone to stop you from getting what you want.

I do agree that positive thinking plus preparation is the way to succeed. However, confidence can be a real killer for some people as they over-estimate their ability, and underestimate the exam.

    FAR 4/9/12- PASSED
    BEC 7/13/12- PASSED
    AUD 8/16/12- Ughhh 71, Rematch: 90!!!
    REG-12/6/12 PASSED

    USC MAcc- Fight on!

They say good things come to those who wait, but only those things that are left by those who hustle.
