I don’t know about you guys but my college courses were not that great for this subject and I am just now learning a lot of this. I understand the VERY basics but am spinning my wheels with a lot fo the complex govt concepts… how well did you all know the govt/nfp portion and is it something that you had to spend a lot fo time studying?

10/13/13 - FAR *PASSED* 76
12/01/13 - AUD *PASSED* 84
01/09/14 - BEC *PASSED* 84
02/27/14 - REG *PASSED* 81

My last FAR experience was, if you had studied these two areas (some good, nitty-gritty studying – not just dabbling!) NFP and Govt questions were not hard.

Now, if you skimped in the studying in these areas, you struggled (the case with me) and it cost you points for sure.

Know the areas well but don't fret about the tiniest minute details.

REG - 65, 70, 80!
BEC - 35, 62, 79!
AUD - 73, 75!
FAR - 65, 73, 70, 75! DONE.

I took the exam today and you need to know both fairly well. I just finished this class from LSU and there were some nit picky questions today that I didn't know. I would focus on the differences in Gvnt-NFP vs GAAP accounting like you should be studying IFRS vs. GAAP.
