I don’t know how I should start my studying for FAR. I failed with a 69. I debating on whether to go through the cpaexcel program agaib or write out the ninja notes and do mcq and sims on each chapter that is noted on the ninja notes. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    How do you learn?

What did you focus on the first time?

With that info we can better help you. Keep in mind that you don't need 6 more points but you need 75 points! It is a mistake that candidate make when re-studying – they just study the weak areas based on score notice from their state board.

At first I just followed the wiley program and felt that it was dragging. I was not really learning as much as I thought. I feel that I learn better the ninja way. A week before my exam I just started doing mcq in the wiley test bank until i got a score of 65% or higher. I re wrote the sections of the ninja notes first and then did the questions.

I am leaning towards that approach on this re take. My master plan (lol) is to break out the sections on my ninja notes and wiley test bank because they are related. I will re write the ninja notes and wiley focus notes per section until I understand it then take MCQ and sims related to that topic until have a trending score of 80%. Having 3 days to review each small topic and a week for the more heavily tested like gov, nfp, bonds etc. I also am going to listen to the ninja audio notes that correspond with the topics.

you have a good plan if that is how you learn…

Most people learn by the following:

    1. Hands-on/Experience

    2. Videos

    3. Audio

Most ppl have a combo of the two – through college I learned that I have to try a problem and learn from my mistakes. At lectures, I zoned out for the 50 or 90 minutes….
