Okay guys, I take FAR 8/26 and I am literally having panic attacks daily lol.

I suck at F2 no matter how many times I go over it but I have mastered F3 & 4, Leasing in F5 (I suck at bonds), F6 is sorta okay but then sorta sucks with deferred taxes, F7, F8 & F9 I feel I can get through, the gov’t part was a blessing because I literally got 80% and up first round for HW on those and F10 I haven’t really given much effort to YET. I want to master 1-9 first.

Now..with all that on my mind I was wondering if you guys could help me out with any tips/tricks/important info for the day of the actual exam from your experience? I am taking it on that Monday at 8am so I can wake up (if I even sleep) and just get to it and not wait around all day miserable.

    Thanks in advance!!

In the few days before the exam, I review the chapters, go over flashcards, and practice MCQs. Especially in FAR, drill through as many MCQs as you can. Most people say the Becker questions are harder than the exam, so if you are making 70-80% on the practice tests, you should be ready for the actual exam.

Try to get a good night's sleep (and I know this sounds impossible) before taking your test so that you can focus on the questions. I usually arrive early at the testing center and study in the parking lot. Eat something before you go in because four hours can be a long time if you are hungry

I usually go nuts the night before my exam and panic about not passing or doubt that I actually know the material. If that happens, take a deep breath and remember the weeks of studying that you have put in. I have a couple of study buddies that talk me down from the ledge before every exam, which helps. =) The worst thing that can happen is that you retake the exam in the next testing window (and I promise, that's really not that bad). Good luck!

If all else fails, do something fun or distracting for a short while. Once I get back to studying, it helps me focus.

Night before the exam: Make sure you have your NTS, ID and anything else (water, snacks, gum, chapstick, tums) prepared and ready to go. Print extra copies of your NTS. I always had a few copies with me in case something happened. Make sure you know where you are going so you don't have to figure it out that morning. I also went as far as having an outfit picked out. I wanted the morning of the be as stress-less as possible!

Also pick a time that evening and STOP studying. Put the books away, relax, watch some TV and trust that you have prepared the best you possibly could for the exam. 🙂

I looked over the Ninja Notes the night before, then the day of I went through F1-F3 and then F9 for flashcards. I knew several answers that I would not have known if it weren't for going through the flashcards and ninja notes immediately before the test. Next exam, I'm going to hammer flashcards the last couple of days.
