I tried FAR twice and got similar score 65.

I listened the video and did 1.5 time questions and wrote my own notes.

How should I prepare the third time?

When I take the exam, I feel it is not very hard, But why the score is so low?

I feel really frustrated and don’t know how to improve it.

    Please give some advice.

I am a mom and work. Have 2-3 hours to study everyday.

You could try to identify the areas you are weak in by doing practice MCQs and a full simulation exam or two (If your study materials provide that).e.g For the Wiley Test Bank, a consistent score of about 65% or over should put you in a relatively strong position.

Based on the results put in more time on the wobbly areas.

Look at your performance report – what are your weak areas? are you bombing SIMS? This test is about making sure you go over every single freaking detail. You don't have to memorize it, but you must be familiar with all of them. If you are using Becker, make sure not to miss anything Becker highlighted!!!

Becker self-study, Wiley Test Bank and books, Becker final review. NINJA MCQ bank and NINJA notes for BEC only!

@Rachel, we had the same experiences with FAR and REG. We both scored in the 60s and 50s in both first attempts with these two sections.

I knew why I scored that low in both of my first two attempts for FAR and REG. However, my improvement in those two sections was still both short of 2-3 points. I got lucky in my third round with FAR. Hopefully, it would work the same way when I face REG the third time in the next testing window.

Did you try the final practice tests before sitting?

I didn't try the final practice tests before sitting. Does it help?

Because you're at your third time you should strongly consider changing your review materials. They clearly aren't working for you. Which is OK because any one review material doesn't work for everyone.

Also, I wouldn't worry too much about the final practice tests but they do give you a good gauge of where you are. I liked taking one about a week out to really identify my weak areas. If you have the time I would consider it.

With my two passes, I was able to finish two final practice tests in both sections with scores of high 70's.

With my three final scores in low 70's (72,72, 73), I only had a single chance to finish one final practice test with scores in the high 40's and 50's. I ran out of time to prepare till the actual test day for another set. However, in all of my final practice tests, I was able to review my practice tests before sitting.

With my actual scores in the 50's and 60's, I didn't do any final practice tests.

I've proven that if I score in the high 70's on a given final practice test, I am ready and prepared well to pass above 75.

It's a matter of time management for me. I know in my mind I need to be able to practice more MCQs so that I will be able to finally score in the 80's once and for all.

I plan to do more than two final practice tests before sitting for the third time. I heard people doing final practice tests every week and their average scores are in the 80's and 90's.
