    Hi!

I took far twice and score around 65. Now I am going to take it again in 2 months. I am wondering if there are anyone with similar experience but finally pass exam willing to share their thoughts and study strategy? What did you do differently?

I am desperate. Any help is appreciated!

    THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Know why the answer is what it is. People have a tendency to see the same q over and over and just memorize the answer and not the reason why.

Know JE's. Do as many Q's as you can. I suggest purchasing an extra set of Q's so you're not looking at the same ones constantly.

    -----------------------------
    BEC - 77, 03/2015 (first try)
    FAR - 79, 05/2015 (second try)
    REG - 83, 12/2015 (first try)
    AUD - 84, 03/2015 (first try)

I got 99 problems but the CPA ain't one.

This time around I am trying to go slow and say out loud why I think the answer is right and why the other answers are wrong. It's much more time consuming, but I need to pass this time!

    AUD 88 (expired), 80 retake
    FAR 64,69,67,73,67,73,73,73, August 3
    REG 75 (expired) September 7
    BEC 72, 77

    The adventure continues...

I failed FAR my first time with a 68. I went back and did nothing but MCQ through Ninja for two weeks and passed with a 76. I would use the detailed view of my trending score to get down to the categories I was struggling in. I would print off this detailed view and highlight all of the categories below 40% and then 50% and then 60%. I would study these for a while and then take more testlets of 30 questions. This really helped me increase my knowledge base in a short amount of time.

Stacks and stacks of scratch paper. For FAR I had two spirals. One for notes (pretty much a single sentence or two to describe the key concept) and another that was used to work at calculations.

Just write, write, and write some more. Good luck!

    FAR - 91
    REG - 88
    AUD - 98
    BEC - 88
