So I took FAR on April 19th and did not pass (but was within 10 points of passing). I sort of had this bad feeling walking into Prometric that this would happen But since score release, I’ve been numb and was more focused on my week long cruise than anything!!!!! However, now that it’s time to get back to reality. My re-match with FAR is July 22nd. I know I’ve been disconnected from my studies for a while, but I really needed that mental break. Maybe my mental break was a little too long, because now I’m lacking motivation and totally doubting myself again. Any thoughts of encouragement? This morning, I drafted up my preliminary 7 week study plan. I’m just going to work problems and write NINJA notes until my hand falls off!!!!!

The hardest part of getting back into study mode is the first day. Just sit your bottom down, turn off your phone and get to it. If your review is starting with Ninja notes. Turn off your internet access and just start writing. Ninja is awesome to outline the important concepts. But you need to study all of the little ins and outs to those concepts. You may want to get your notes from your first try and rewrite those.

Remember, for a retake you don't just need the additional 10 points… you need 75 points. You've got a lot of work to do, but you can do it!
