I recently graduated in December of 2012 and have been searching for a job to this day. I have had a lot of interviews, but currently no offer. I have been studying FAR, my first section, but I find it very hard to concentrate given that my job situation is still up in the air, not knowing when it will end. How do you guys concentrate on studying if in this situation?

Be happy that at least you're getting interviews

    It's also easier to study when you're unemployed (I study 6-8 hours a day..everyday)

Yeah I think we are in the same boat(well almost). I graduated in June 2012 and started studying for my CPA at the end of July, early August. And I've been studying a lot everyday since then. I didnt even take my first exam (FAR also) until early October because I had to wait for my official bachelor degree to process before they would let me sit for the exam. But my recommendation for you is focus solely on the CPA exams. If you get a job, then thats great and dandy, but you should make studying your priority. And what would help is scheduling two exams for each testing window to motivate you and push you. In fact you should schedule FAR on early April and Auditing for mid May.

I gotta warn since you're still near the beginning of your CPA journey that the road is going to be tedious and boring. You may want to consider trying to get a part-time internship to try to make sure you get out of the house more.

    Goood luck!
