How much of new stuffs will I miss if I study with 2008 version Becker's??

    I took my Becker review course back in 2008. Since this will be my last section, I can’t really justify spending hundreds of dollar on new version. Will there be a lot of new materials in current CPA exam that were not covered in 2008 version??

    My guess is that due to new codification, I believe that GAAP hierarchy questions should be gone. what would be the latest testing topic that November 2009 FAR CPA exam will cover??

    Why would you study for a 2010 exam using materials written in the summer/fall of 2007?

    A 2010 Wiley book (which I used to pass along with the Yaeger vids) is only like $25-$30 on Amazon.

    I would definitely recommend spending the money. I agree with Jeff the Wiley book isn't much. I would rather spend the money now and study the right material than study outdated material. Think about all the things that have changed, for instance, what about 141R?
