I see alot of people who have failed the each test like 4-5 times, and I thought I knew that you can’t take the same section in the same window of when you failed it. So If i took REG beginning of the first window, failed it, I can’t take it again in the same window can I??? Have these people been taking these tests for multiple years?? Or was I just wrong and they’ve taken the test more than once in the same window?

    REG - 80 (4/19/12)
    BEC - 81 (5/31/12)
    FAR - 89 (8/27/12)
    AUD - 87 (11/12/12)

You are correct that you can't take the same section more than once in a window. And yes, some people push through this torture for years. They all have my hats off, amazing to be so determined to achieve a goal. 🙂

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

I've been at this for 4 years. My first NTS started with 379. There have been more than 1,000,000 exams paid for since then. The only way to fail is to quit!

That is ALOT of money to spend on three letters! You ARE a stronger person than me Kricket…I KNOW i would throw in the towel as soon as, god forbid, one of my passing exams expired (knock on wood, salt behind my left shoulder, etc etc).

Losing a test credit is one of the most horrible feelings in the world. But you just have to ask yourself “Is this really what I want?” and “Did I really do everything I could?” My answers have always been “Yes, I want this.” and “No, I (insert excuse here)”. But then again, I'm really just too hard headed and stubborn to quit. Not to mention, I'm a total cheapskate! The thought of setting fire to nearly $10,000 makes me cringe! Quitting now would be about the same thing as setting fire to all that money. I'm not alone in this by any stretch of the imagination. There are plenty of people who have been at this longer than me.

You can take as many exams as you want to in a window, as long as they're not the same exam. If you mess up on an exam, it'll be 1 month and a day to 4 months and 29 days before you can retake it.
