How many Pension questions and / or simulations have you seen on your FAR exam, this one is really bothering me.

I don't think anyone is actually allowed to disclose that info (although I would love to know myself!)

I'm hoping the pension questions I see tomorrow are things like net periodic pension cost and over/under-funded analysis, but I'm sure I won't be that lucky :-/

It's against the disclosure rules to say how many questions on a particular topic were on your exam. Besides, every exam is different, so what was true for me isn't going to necessarily going to apply to you.

Theres no saying for sure, really. You can look up previous AICPA released questions for the FAR exam on the Becker website (or google AICPA released FAR questions) and you will see if you compare say the 2009 exam to the 2010 exam that the percentage of questions in one area changes. Keep on studying everything-half the time I swear the questions I see on the actual exam I never say studying.

FAR is a mile wide and an inch deep. There are a ton of topics but only 97 questions. According to the CSO, pensions is one topic amongst many others in a section that counts for 27-33%. This means that you'll probably have around 30 questions for the entire section. Beyond that, it's impossible to say how many will be directly on pensions.
