How long should I wait between exams?

    Looking for some advice.
I passed AUD and REG in the past 6 months so I have until June 2020, according to my score report, to pass BEC and FAR (not sure how that’s 18 months because I actually passed AUD Oct 5, 2018, but whatever?). I’m doing an internship with an accounting firm Jan-March of next year for audit season and then another one next summer with a different company. My tentative plan right now is to try and knock out BEC during April 2019 (the free month between my internships) and then go after FAR starting August 2019 once I finish my second internship.
I’m trying to avoid studying while working full time, but is it a bad idea to leave FAR for last? Should I just study and take BEC/FAR as soon as possible, regardless of whether I’m working or not?

    Thanks!

Get it over with man. Don't burn yourself out but also don't compromise on your studying whilst working full time but just get through the exams and get this part of the licensing process done. You've got momentum, don't take your foot off the gas until you're home free. Just my two cents.

Don't wait until you aren't working full time. You've made some decent scores on the sections you have passed which means you are probably decent at remembering things. You'll probably pass no matter what you do, but I would power through and get them done now. You never know how something may trip you up. That 18 month window can slip away in a hurry if you fail a section a couple of times. Plenty of people work full time and take these exams. I routinely put in 55+ hours a week and still find time to study even with a toddler at home. If you are concerned about ensuring you make a 90+ on the exam, sure, wait until you can fully devote all your free time to taking the exam. There really is no difference of any grade over 74. I'd rather have a pass as soon as possible.
As far as what section to take, its up to you. If you choose BEC just make sure you pass it on the first try to give yourself the room for retakes of FAR if required.
