I’m only on chapter 1, and I’m already given a lot of differences to memorize…what’s the best method to remember these differences?? I can’t imagine 9 more chapters of this…

are you using Becker? I used Becker and Yaeger, but I found that Becker had a section at the end of each chapter detailing the differences. So, I pulled all that out and made a booklet out of it. I liked having all the ifrs vs. gaap all in one. I would reread that over and over.

Yup I saw those sections..it's a bit overwhelming though. Makes me wish I was more on track back in 2010. BTW congrats on getting your life back!

Thanks!! I know what you mean, I tested before the new format and IFRS came around, and was dreading the changes. But, life just goes that way sometimes. I felt it was overwhelming too, but ripping out those pages and making a mini booklet helped organize the information in my head. Are you sitting for FAR this window or next?

I'm planning to sit for it next window. Tested BEC on 2/20 and hoping for good news from that. Good idea with ripping the pages out! I'll definitely be doing that as I finish the chapters.
