    1st – The only way to fail is to quit!

    2nd – You have to want to be a CPA more than you want sleep, food or companionship.

    3rd – A score below 75 isn't the end of the world and no one is going to take your birthday away if you don't pass.

    4th – Look at my scores and tell yourself “I NEVER WANT TO BE LIKE THAT WOMAN!” and then go back to studying. I am the poster child for what not to do.

    72 is close. Gut it out and study it all over again as if you got a 50. You have to want this more than anything (including a life).

    thanks for your reply guys, i used to be so thrilled about studying and i studied hard, i wanted this more than anything in the world but when i failed i was just shattered, was not able to take it. I just feel that i will write again and fail.

    I HAVE TO PASS CPA but i have to get out of this negative attitude and get back at FAR which i am not able to do right now. i dont understand how everybody is so positive, how r u ppl so positive in life.

    I have two little girls who look up to me everyday. Also my husband comes home everyday, hating his job. Comes home hurt with bruses everyday, he works for a bricklaying crew. He only puts up with it for $$. They are the reason why I'm doing this. For a better life for all of us.

    Make a bet with the next person who thinks you are going to fail the next test you take. I am taking BEC and AUD this next testing window and I bet my twin brother $500 that I would pass them both.

    The money is good, the fact that i proved him wrong is better, but the fact that I will be 2 sections closer is the best!

    Bec - 66, 71
    Aud - 73

    Going to enjoy some of the summer and retake both in August since my clock hasn't started ticking yet.

    @hopeCPA

    MCQ'sMCQ's…and more MCQ's. One thing that helps me get motivated is knowing that if im not prepared, i wont pass. Know the material, know that you know the material and know that you are going to know the material on test day…it will make studying much less stressful.

    Don't let this test get the best of you. Let's do it!

    You are really really close. FAR is a little crazy, b/c it's pretty much all of your quantitative accounting classes on one test. Re-do those questions again (and again!) and solidify what you know. Don't let your efforts and current study knowledge get away from you until you get that 75.

    And mix it up a bit, with breaks, FB, videogames, whatever. You're going to be more efficient studying for 2 hours if you're ready to study, rather than dragging it out over an unmotivated 5.

    Couldn't pass again!

    When I get into a slump like this before I would just quit. Now I slug it out with multiple choice questions. Sometimes, I'm so unmotivated It takes me two hours just to do 20 questions, and other times I can do 100 questions in two hours…so go with the flow, listen to your body, and want it but be careful….wanting it more than anything isn't necessarily going to help you pass as being calm and tranquil about it. If you have time, listen to some Alan Watts on youtube for peace of mind…or check out the video at my blog it's soothing, hypnotic, and will help break up the tension and monotony from studying.
