Just curious how people are dealing with the effects that these test have on ur lives. Any tips would be much appreciated because this is really doing damage too both my physical and mental well being. Maybe i am putting too much pressure on myself too pass as failure is not an option for me. Moreover so worried about not passing audit which I just took and pass bec and retake audit before I lose my reg score on feb 28 2012. I really hate these dead month testing windows! Also should I retake audit if I failed before doing Bec? Either case I only have a few months left to pass these and retaking audit won’t leave any margin for error on bec since I’ll have to pass it before December since my Becker liscense expires.

Whoa Amanda – that's high! Did the dr. tell you what to do about it? Hopefully it's just temporary.

I pet my dog or play with my dog in between study sessions. I get anxious when doing MCQs, so on my break time. I beeline to my dog for some cuddle time.

I tend to blast rock music and read some fanfic. Just taking a short break can sometimes work wonders.

@CPA50 he said that he's not worried about it because its normally pretty low and I'm clearly under a lot of stress. No kidding. It was like 110/60 a few months ago when I was on a break from studying in between sections so I'm pretty sure it's CPA Exam related!

Aromatherapy and a nice long bubble bath with epsom salts. That's my remedy 🙂

2 shots of tequila and 1 shot of triple sec in a medium glass of crystal light lemonade. It's the only thing that will actually take my mind off of the material and get a good night sleep. If I don't, I'll be dreaming about concepts and wake up reciting formulas. Haha.

Not sure. I'm pretty laid back- I haven't been stressed out at all.

It's just a series of tests.

@billbrasskey That's kind of a mean thing to say in a post asking about how to handle stress…

It's like if there was a post on how to not be overweight and you replied with “I don't know, I've always been skinny and I eat whatever I want.”

    Just sayin'.

It's true if you really think about it. The worst thing that really happens if you fail is you drop $190 and study for a few more weeks.

It's not like this is a hostage situation and somebody dies if you screw up.

If you fail (and I have twice so far), you get back in the saddle. It's a call for action, not for stressing.

Blue Moon beer every Friday night, starting about an hour prior to finishing my studies for the evening. Also, sticking to my study plan. That makes me feel like I'm on the right track and not falling behind.
