I just can’t seem to pass FAR. I just got my score that I failed it…yet again. I’ve gotten a 55, 60, and a 68. I can see that I am doing better, but I just can’t seem to get it. I now have to move onto BEC because my Becker study materials are going to expire in July. Can anyone please shed some light on how I can get those 7 extra points?? I felt good when I left the exam, but I guess I didn’t do as well as I had hoped. I am facing losing my REG score in November, as I still have FAR to pass and both BEC and AUD to take. Please help…any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I use Becker primarily but I did buy Wiley for FAR and the NINJA notes. I just don’t know what else to do…

First attempt 58, Second attempt 68 for me. You are doing better so get back to studying and pass this beast! I plan to retake in july and hit the areas hard that I am not 100% on. How did you do on the mcq section compared to the sims? I felt strong on the MCQ but ran out of time on the sims. So this time around I am going to make sure I have 1.5 hrs left going into the sims.

well i guess Beckers is a good review for FAR.. Just re-read the entire material as if you never read it.. and remember to do all the HW questions after each single chapter.. do the additional questions on the home screen.. try to get a score of 90% on each and every Homework ques… understand your weakness, by going through the answer explanation.. go through that material again, if required. also give all the final test-lets and try scoring above 80!! best of luck…

I have 2 attempts for 2 different parts and have not tasted yet how & what to feel when I pass. But between the 2, I can tell FAR is extremely difficult, tons of materials. I was actually more intimidated to attack FAR again than to tackle the newly clarified standards of AUD.

I scored 62 on my first attempt, then 72 on my second attempt. I am wondering if it will be 82 or more on my third time around.

Oh well, all of us CPA candidates are conquerors. We will overcome all these odds in front of us.

From my experience, I should have tackled more MCQs & progress tests. I only studied the materials but shorted time for final review & practice tests.

If I can allocate 1 week for my final review & 3 weeks just working on 5,000 MCQs/Progress, I know I will be ready to attack & defeat FAR.

But for the time being, it's AUD first thing in July.

Read the entire book front to back and do every single multiple choice question. As someone who had one test hold them back I can tell you that reading the material that many times and through practice practice practice I couldn't not get it eventually.

    AUD - 76 (lost credit), 71, 82!
    BEC - 84 (lost credit), 80
    FAR - 67, 76
    REG - 44, 64, 52, 72, 70, 54, 64, 67, 78!
