Depends on whether you mean any career you can get into after you have a CPA, or careers within the fields that are typically taken by CPA's. For the first, your opportunities are limitless. Depending on the individual and their interests, you may end up within finance, general management, consulting, business advisory, or a host of other career paths that hold many options and high pay opportunities. Within typical CPA areas, public accounting pays fairly well at the manager level and higher. Also, director level in industry does well too. If you're talking entry-level, financial analysts at some Fortune 500 companies have fantastic starting packages. Of course, within the CPA areas, your pay will not likely jump as quickly outside of public as it will within public.

Lots of open details, but I hope this gives you a general idea.

    BEC 86 (08/30/11)
    FAR 84 (10/13/11)
    REG 88 (11/08/11)
    AUD 86 (11/29/11)
