So I went to the NASBA Website, chose my state (CT), registered and paid for 3 of the 4 parts of the exam and the application fee. I also requested that my transcripts be sent to them, so is that all I have to do?! Everyone said that registering was so difficult, so I really feel like I am missing something…Do I need to register somewhere else as well?

How soon will my NTS come? I registered a week ago and am hoping to take FAR in April…

Any help is appreciated! I love this forum and all the wonderful people that are so willing to help me through this process…

    BEC: 79 - April 2011
    FAR: 78 - May 2011
    AUD: 81 - May 2012
    REG: 79 - October 2012
    Ethics: Passed - March 2013
    I am finally DONE!

Hi. I am a FL candidate, and can give you my experience.

First, I had to submit an application to the FL Board of Accountancy via the Department of Business & Professional Regulation. I had to include official transcripts from all colleges/universities I attended.

About four weeks later, I received notification from the Board that my application to sit had been approved.

I then went to NASBA's website, and registered and paid for the section(s) I wanted to sit for.

Four to five days later I received my NTS. I requested it be sent to me via email (an option I selected while registering and paying). If you plan on receiving your NTS via email, add the sender to your contact list to ensure the message does not get filtered to your SPAM folder.

Upon receiving the NTS, I scheduled my exam with Prometric.

    I hope this helps.

    BEC (05/31/10) 82
    AUD (08/31/10) 76
    REG (11/29/10) 90
    FAR (02/28/11) 82
