Have 2017 books. Should I go for updated one-2018

    Will 2017 books suffice for exams in 2018 ?

    BEC- 43(Feb'16), Retake-June 10, (Wiley text book/WQB/NINJA MCQ)
    REG- TBD
    FAR- TBD

    I would switch it up for FAR and REG at a minimum due to the changes.
    I think AUD had a change to the videos but it was only 2% of my review course as far as I can tell.
    The FAR changes were 5%. REG I am not sure how much that will change but the tax law changes are substantial.

    FAR had big changes in Revenue Recognition so I for sure suggest that updated book and any other material you plan to study.

    The new tax law changes, passed last year, are eligible for testing starting in 2019 for REG so there shouldn't be any substantial changes but FAR had revenue recognition changes like everyone on here has already mentioned.
