Has your advisory score of 75 ever become a 74 in your official score?

    Hi all,

I just received an advisory score of 75 for my Regulation exam, however I am concerned that the official score will be 74. I hear that the advisory score is typically your official score (when it posts approximatley 2 months later), however, there are some rare instances where it will change.

Has this happened to you? Please help!

    Thanks!

According to a person I spoke to at the CA boa, your advisory score does not change. It is only there to show if you failed so that you can get a jump start on reapplying.

    AUD - 81, BEC - 74, 80, FAR - 82, REG - 81

Your score never changes – advisory or official does not matter.

mike01: I took the exam on 7/17/10 and saw my score on 8/29/10 (Sunday)… I didn't check my score on 8/28/10 so I'm not exactly sure when it was actually posted on the website.

    Thanks for your responses!

Basically CA gives us the score so we can see if we need to reapply but hasn't officially given credit/no credit yet.

    FAR 92 - AUD 91 - REG 94 - BEC 86

Does any other state do this?

    FAR - 95
    AUD - 82
    REG - 94
    BEC - 84
