I am just about half way thru FAR NINJA MCQ new questions and literally want to puke. It’s ridiculous how long they take to do (averaging 1:40 a question). I guess it’s because it takes longer because I read the answer but there have been many times where I want to go to bathroom and do nothing but puke. I guess you just keep going till your eyeballs want to pop out and just keep drilling info in your head until it sticks. Anyone else feel this dramatic about FAR MCQ’s? All the other exams did not have me feeling this way at all.

If you want to puke while doing MCQ's, then you are doing it right! The more sick of the material you are, the better your chances of passing!

I literally fell asleep in my chair today, going through FAR governmental MCQ's. My current attention span is 4 MCQs, then I need to surf the web, play on my phone, get a snack, or do some other diversion before I can get back to the next MCQ. At this rate, I will need to reschedule FAR and just take it under the new format!

If anyone using Roger or Becker is having a rough time (like I did) with their Govt and Nonprofit Acct, try Gleim, if you can purchase just one section at a time. Purchase FAR and use it.
Gleim's book for FAR is very good – it's a bit dry and anal for some topics but the Govt and NPO chapters are good. I got so confused with Roger's discussions about it and the MCQ didn't prepare me well for those areas I didn't think. After taking FAR, I actually started studying on Gleim's materials (I didn't buy, somebody gave the books to me who no longer needed them) even before I knew my score. To my surprise, Govt and NPO were two of my stronger areas on the (failed) exam!! But, I knew I'd be retaking it eventually so looked for some other better study materials.

I can totally relate to the short attention span thing, I'm the same way nowadays. I'm not coming on here as much as I used to – trying to limit it to weekends only.

9 days out and I'm averaging 56-63% across the five major Ninja MCQ categories. I can put in another ~45 to 50 hours before FAR day. Between reviewing a few of Bob Monette's lectures (Govt, NFP, Leases, Cash Flows) and choking down as many MCQs as I can stomach, I sure hope there's a halfway decent chance that i am prepared enough to pass.

I can't wait to blast the living poop out of my study materials at the shooting range…but I have to pass FAR first. 🙁

You're really close now. Yeah, once I am done running this stupid godawful labyrinth I am going to have a bonfire. I won't only burn my Roger review books but also the ones that people gave me for free (older versions of Gleim, Becker, Roger, etc. from years gone by.)

Bob Monette is the absolutely only thing keeping me still awake while studying for FAR. This guy hammers down on every key point and makes me dream of financial reporting standards in my sleep (no joke). It is exhausting ah hell going through the MCQ's but I am sure it will help come exam day.

Quick question. Once you have “seen” every question at least once, do you reset your stats on Ninja or do you keep going till you 100% them all?

    BEC: 7/31/16 (Awaiting Results)
    AUD: 9/8/16
    REG: 10/22/16
    FAR: 12/3/16

I don't bother resetting, my average will be diluted so my performance on round 2 and 3 is understated. I ignore the trending and focus on building ~80% avg in each category before test day.
