I did the same thing for FAR last year (May 28 –> July 6).  I ended up passing.

I think it's a fine idea as long as you aren't racing the clock for something (i.e. one of your scores is expiring).  This means you only have 1 shot at FAR through September (whereas you could have had two windows if you failed in May and retook in July/Aug).

yea, but if i failed it this month, then i would have to retake in july anyways… so i would be in the same boat.  if i passed, then of course thats a different story, but honestly right now, i wouldnt pass that exam if i took it.  3-3.5 weeks is not enough to pass aud.

I had my aud exam scheduled for tomorrow 5/26 but i postponed it until July 7th. I had plan to use the month of April and May to study but my allergies this year were so bad i couldn't study. Im just getting over them. I was able to get a few study sessions in but I didn't feel comfortable going in with minimal studying.

I come from a different perspective. I was planning on taking AUD on 5/25 (yesterday) but I waited too long to schedule it. So when I finally got ready to book my exam (5/17), the entire month was full except for 5/20. That meant I had 2 and 1/2 days to prepare and take it  OR  wait until July 6th.  I decided that I'd roll the dice and see how it goes. Even if I didn't pass, I'd still be re-testing in July. I don't usually take risk well, but I'm glad I did. This was a re-test for me and I think it went well.

BShep:  i thought about doing the same thing, but i honestly didnt want to spend another whatever it costs to retake when i know i wasnt going to do well at all.  i was thinking to take it just to take it, but then again i also didnt want to go in knowing i wasnt going to do well and i would have a non passing grade.
