Well, I just got out of my FAR exam and man was it a beast. I actually didnt think the multiple choice were bad…they were certainly tough but I felt good about my answers…then came the Sims….I answered both written components and research parts…but after that..i had no idea what i was doing on BOTH of them. …any chance I pass? do they give pity points on sims? 🙂 sorta bummed

Little nervous myself. The MC were relatively easy. I finished the first testlet in 25 minutes, and got noticeably harder 2nd and 3rd testlets which should be a good sign. Although I was surprised in that the wording of the questions was much different than it was in Wiley's review material. The exam questions were much less clear in terms of what they were looking for, although probably easier conceptually.

In any case I was done all the MC with 2:15 to spare, and spent every minute of it on the sims. And now I get to wait over a month to find out how I did.

i was the EXACT same way. I noticed the testlets getting harder for m/c which was definitely good and I felt very good about the multiple choice..the sims though..SO many journal entires and that freaked me out and then the numbers I put in with the journal entires…well..i know some are wrong, the question is…how many…ugh! Please, just a 75! thats all I ask for! Anyone feel like they bombed the sims yet still passed? I know thats probably alot to ask for huh?

PleasePass- I absolutely bombed the sims..to this day I don't know how I completed a single tab. I finished both sims, but literally guessed on every tab. It took me so much time to even figure out what I was being asked. I'm convinced I got a hard test overall and that it must have been difficult for anyone getting those questions. I would definitely keep hope. I was 100% sure I had failed because of the sims (and my 3rd testlet got WAY easier)! Either way, I ended up with an 83 and cried that I never had to take that test again haha
