Trying to push through the last two chapters in Becker as fast as I can so I can have more time for review. My test is on November 17th. If I hear Gearty say BAE BAE one more time, I might scream! 🙂
Any pointers on absorbing this awful material? I find that individually it’s not hard, just a lot of weird nuance….I looked ahead to Chapter 10 and oy!

My advice:

In order to get through Not for profit accounting, and Governmental,

I read the respective chapters in my advanced accounting textbook.

I read the chapters page by page, taking notes and reading the examples. It was EXTREMELY helpful to understand the material.

After finishing the respective chapter (Governmental), I got the section in Becker and was able to breeze through it and score fairly high in the MCQs.

Reading the full government chapters took me about 8 hours in one sitting with breaks in between, I am not a fast reader
