    Hello Ninjas,

I got 64 on FAR in Dec and scheduled a retake on Feb 28th.

I’m using Roger for lectures and Wiley test bank for MCQ/Sims. I have roughly unanswered 1,100 MCQs and 50 Sims left. Trying to learn the new revenue recognition rules first before I start working on the questions. I’ll try out the ELL method to regulate my studying schedule.

It seems impossible to tackle all MCQs and Sims in the Wiley Test Bank. If it seems doable to you, how would you allocate your schedule? If not, how many MCQs and Sims would you recommend to tackle before start reviewing?

For a sidenote – I’m not acitizen and not a English-speaker. I work for a public accounting firm and our busy season is gonna start mid Feb.

Any other comments and advice would also be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I went from a 58 to a 75 on FAR last year. 1st time I only used Roger. Second attempt I only used Ninja because Roger has expired. Using Ninja, I did around 3,500 mcq and practiced half the sims. I read and watched some lectures on difficult areas. I put in around 150 hours total for second attempt. You need to write down notes on all if not most the mcq you miss. If you're truly averaging 80% then you should be good to go.

How did you make the notes for mcq's when they're not printed? It works best for me when I have hard copies of mcqs and write notes on them as I study, but at the same time I feel like I need to familiarize myself to the computer-based tests. Thanks for your help!
