Hi, I am just wondering for those who are using Becker 2011, what is the average score u should achieve before going into the actual exam? Cuz the FAR Becker MCQs are pretty hard to do, in my opinion.

I used to be really worried about this too, but everyone here has assured me that it's normal to do bad on Becker's FAR MCQ. I've actually heard that they are harder than the exam. My first time around I score from 70 – low 80's depending on the topic. Not sure where a good place to be by the end is because I haven't reached the end yet.

I was scoring around 70% (sometimes much lower, sometimes higher) and I ended up scoring around 80-85% first time on the final exams. We'll find out in September if I passed the real thing or not…

I think what's important is that you understand where you're going wrong, and when you re-work the problems you don't just memorize which answer is right but rather actually do the work to get to the answer.

I got a 50 something % on the first FAR lesson (and this was the first exam I was studying for) and was absolutely traumatized, but it turned out alright. You'll be OK 🙂

My first time around I am usually in the 50% range. I typically try and work my way up to 70-80% by the end.
